I have lower back pain from doing deadlifts is a massage good?

Definitely. Relaxes muscles, increases circulation, feels good.
Yes. Massage should be fine. If you don't feel better in 1-2 weeks doing conservative care, i would suggest getting further evaluation.

Would like to know if cephalexin is good when your back goes out and you have lower back pain? Someone raised there foot to go across a cord and there back went out.

I . I would not recommend Cephalexin for initial treatment of back pain. Cephalexin is an antibiotic not an anti-inflammatory medication. It is used for infections. Rarely a back pain work-up may find deep infection in the back bone and disk which would require antibiotics, usually much stronger antibiotics then cephalexin. I would recommend work up by primary care doctor. Usual initial treatments include rest, anti-inflammatory medications, muscle relaxants, physical therapy. Good luck! Read more...
