Why is it that I still have my period on birth control pills?

You are supposed to. Birth control pills packs have 21 active hormone pills to stop ovulation and last seven pills are dummy like sugar pills and that brings in your period every 28 days. There are bcps which contain all 28 pills as active hormones and if you take these you will stop having your periods talk to your doctor if that's for you or not.
