In brief: Hopefully the

Person involved will receive emergency care.
They will be monitored ; stablized. When possible, blood levels of the drugs overdosed on will be measured. If the person can't breath - a breathing tube may be used. They may have intravenous fluids. Sometimes the stomach is pumped and charcoal may be given. Depending on depth of wrist laceration depth- they may need to be sutured or even surgery.

They will likely be evaluated by a psychiatrist or psychologist. They may require medication. If you or anyone you know has thoughts about killing themself / yourself, get seen at the nearest emergency room now. Have a friend or relative drive or call 911 for emergency services for transport. Call National suicide hotlines 24/7 at 1-800-suicide (1-800-784-2433) or 1-800-273 – talk

In brief: Why do you ask?

You might die.
Or we might save your life, get you out of your present living situation for a time, work very hard to make your life better, talk with you so that your mind won't play this cruel trick on you again, maybe give you some Rx that will clear your thinking & put a smile back on your face. Why not skip the suicide gesture altogether, talk with your physician & let us help you fix ur life
