What kind of bone graft, if the bone was taken from the bank (bone bank) it like any other surgery, if the bone was taken from you it is painful.

In brief: Hopefully success!
If you were given corticosteroid to prevent swelling, antibiotics to prevent infection, and analgesic to prevent pain, you should have no problems the first 3 days.
After that, chemotaxis or mobilization of all your inflammatory mediator (needed for proper healing) will cause slight swelling and then subside between 2-3 weeks. Your tissue should reattached and crosslinked at the end of 4 weeks.

In brief: Where
This is highly dependent on the location bone grafting is expected to be performed as we can do this just about anywhere.
