For 4 days, i've been having pain on the left side of lower/mid abdomen, and feeling bloated and nausea. Pain started with coughing. Can be a hernia?

In brief: It's possible

Sounds like it might be a bit high for a hernia.
If there's a lump under the skin however, it is more likely to be a hernia. In any case, best to get an exam by your primary care doc if it persists or gets worse in order to find out. Hope this helps!

In brief: See professionals...

Clinically, colon diverticulitis needs to be considered although less likely in someone like you at 28.
But if in doubt, check with professionals timely for detail and specifics timely. Best wish...
