Injured back 6 months ago CT came back with mild arthropathy and bone spurring on right l5/s1. Will I ever be able to workout and run again? I'm 22

Certainly. . Sounds like a minor injury in regards to the ct. Mild is not bad. It is possible that you could have other issues related to muscle spasm or disc/nerve problems which a ct wouldn't show. For most back problems walking , pt and activity are actually beneficial to recovery.

Absolutely. Mild facet joint arthropathy is very very common on ct and mri. This is not a death sentence and may not even be the cause of your low back pain. Since the pain is relatively new, if strong anti-inflammatories don't help, you can possibly get a lumbar facet joint steroid injection to get rid of the pain. Get a proper evaluation by a spine specialist to see what the actual cause is. Read more...

If they do one, it would be helpful for them to do spect imaging. Read more...
