In brief: I don't think so

Eating a fruit (s) before your meal may cause early satiety .
Eating slowly, and bitting food well causes early satiety. Therefore, you eat less which may help with your weight.

In brief: Not in general

With a normal stomach, two glasses of water will be filling and likely help you eat less.
If you had bariatric surgery, we usually ask you to avoid drinking with meals so that you don't wash the food down.
