In brief: Diagnose first
First make sure that there is no underlying medical issue such as thyroid.
When medical is ruled out, then there needs to be counselling help to get through any other issues. Make sure your sense of smell is ok by using a family member to compare a few known smells. If this sense is weak then your appetite can really be damaged.

In brief: Marinol
In select patients Marinol is used to help stimulate one's appetite.
Otherwise concentrate on high caloric foods.
