I have swollen area on the right side of my groin that hurts a bit more pain if touched should I be concerend?

Yes. Two common conditions in the groin are large lymph nodes and inguinal hernias. The growth of lymph nodes could be cancerous (lymphomas or metastatic from other tissues of the adomen and pelvis) or infectious. Hernias cause no problems unless incarcerated causing obstruction or pain.
