Ct scan showed mild facet joint arthropathy and bone spurr of right L5 s/1 from an injury 6 months ago. Is my youth over such as running/working out?

Ex cerise is good. The injury is healing and the bone will continue to remodel. It is far better for you to excercise than to be sedentary. If there is pain the use of nsaids is helpful and plenty of stretching..

Injured back 6 months ago. Ct scan show mild facet joint arthropathy of l5/s1 with spurring on right side. Very depressed just 22. Can I live active?

Yes normal life. This should usually go away on its own. I would take an ant-iinflamatory such as advil or aleve (naproxen) for one month then re-evaluate. Read more...
Absolutely. Mild facet joint arthropathy is very very common on ct and mri. This is not a death sentence and may not even be the cause of your low back pain. Since the pain is relatively new, if strong anti-inflammatories don't help, you can possibly get a lumbar facet joint steroid injection to get rid of the pain. Get a proper evaluation by a spine specialist to see what the actual cause is. Read more...
Yes You Can. You will get over this. It is not over, at least not yet ;). Start a physical therapy/exercise program, remember start slow and take your time to get back to health and strength. Look at all those athletes out there in the world, they take their sweet time before getting back on the field. It must all mean something... Facet injections/Treatments are also helpful if you are not improving. Read more...

Ct scan shows mild facet arthropathy of right l5/s1 facet joint. Why does it hurt just as bad on the left side same area as right when it's "normal"?

Difficult to locate. The facet joints in the back are deep, under the muscles, and it is not possible to exactly localize the source of pain for patient. So it is quite possible to feel pain on both sides in lower back only way to localize the pain is to block the joint with anesthetic and see if the pain goes away after the block i hope that helps. Injured my back 6 months ago working out. Ct scan came back negative for pars fracture but L5 s1 right side facet joint arthropathy. I'm 22 is it poss?

Bone scan... Pars fracture typically shows a "scotty dog" on oblique radiograph. Sometimes fracture can show up on bone scan before it shows up on x-ray but it sounds like your injury was a while ago. Have you had a nuclear medicine bone scan or asked about having one? If they do one, it would be helpful for them to do spect imaging. Read more...
