I haven't run due to runner's knee for 8 months. I started pt after month 4. My knee is still slightly inflamed. What else should I do?

Re-evaluate PT Rx. Make sure in pt or on your own you are doing the correct exercises. Don't do resistance biking, squats, knee extensions, jogging. Do st bike with minimal resistance, wall slides, leg lifts, walk, elliptical machine, swim. Ice after and use an nsaid.
Orthopedist. If you are working with an orthopedic specialist, that is the best source for information on your knee. If not, sounds like it's time to see one.
