In brief: Not likely

In general, tonsillitis can cause obstructive symptoms in the throat, not the nose.
For the nose, the adenoids (upper throat, behind the nose) can cause nasal obstruction . A nasal septum deviation or turbinate enlargement is very likely to contribute to nasal blockage. Adenoids can contribute to ear infections. Tonsil and adenoid problems can contribute to sleep apnea problems. See an ent.
