Can medical marijuana be prescribed for anything other than pain or nausea?

Yes. There several other condition for which it may be beneficial. Unfortunately, all that is required is poor judgement in a patient and greed in a few doctors. I cannot tell you how many inappropriate med marijuana patients I have encountered.
