I know that it exists an "exchange resin" to absorb potassium and liberate sodium, there's really nothing to absorb sodium ? Nanotech or a probiotic?

In brief: Absorbing sodium

Sodium (n) get absorbed the kidneys.
The exchange resin is used to excrete potassium (k) from the body in stool. It exchanges n for k, in the colon, causing n to be absorbed by the body. If too much n is absorbed by the kidneys and edema fluid occurs, diuretics are used to excrete the edema fluid by the kidneys.
