Inflammation (orchitis), hydrocoele, spermatic cord mass, or hernias cause testicular pain. Please consult with your family doctor or urologist for persistent pain. Severe pain may indicate torsion of a testicle. Anti-inflammatories (advil, motrin) are indicated first. A low dose opioid (hydrocodone 5mg/500 apap) can be used
