In brief: Both r antihistamine

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (diphehydramine) is a 1st generation antihistamine, probably causes sedation, which might abate with continued usage, but has the problem of tolerance, (meaning u might need an extra dosage to have the same effect), reactine (ceterizine) is 2nd generation, mostly nonsedating and doesn't cause tolerance, at any rate you need to be evaluated by an allergist to better direct ur therapy.
