Can disseminated intravascular congulation aka dic be treated?

Absolutely, when. Diagnosed early we can decrease the risk of uncontrollable bleeding. Unfortunately it is still a devastating condition in many cases.
Secondarily. Dic is a phenomenon hat occurs when some gets really sick. For instance, a severe blood infection can lead to dic. Then it is the blood infection that makes someone sick, and dic is merely a marker of how sick that person is. The treatment of dic is to treat the illness that is making the person so sick, ie treat the infection.
