What is the usual procedure for getting rid of a dibilitating and painful synovial cyst in the knee joint? I can barely walk and the knee is popping.

Ortho eval. Due to your severe pain and impaired mobility, it is important to see the orthopedic surgeon for further eval. If a synovial cyst is confirmed as the cause, the ortho can provide you with appropriate treatment whether it is aspirating the cyst or excision of the cyst. There are several other causes of knee pain so it's important to make the correct diagnosis. Good luck!
Find the reason for. The synovial cyst, it could be in the joint and around the joint. If in the joint we have to take of that and most likely the cyst will disappear. If out side the joint some time steroid injection may be required.
