Can you tell me which are the risks of the adenoids removal surgery?

Low risk . Bleeding is rare but possible. Not life threatening but may require cauterization. Also aggressive removal can cause scarring of the eustachian tube opening. Finally, in cases of a cleft palate (may not be obvious) removal can worsen pharyngeal insufficiency. Question back: a 42 yo should not have adenoid tissue anymore. Usually gone by 20.
