What should my baby's feeding schedule be?

Every 4 hours. New babies eat whenever they feel like. As the newborn grows and approaches 6-8 weeks of age, he/she will feed about every 4 hours. As he/she continues to grow to 6 months of age, solids can be given morn, noon and evening with formula every 4 to 6 hours during the day. After 6 months of age, most babies should be sleeping through the night and not waking up for food or drink.
Infant demand. Infant's should feed on demand (they demand, you feed). Some parents are fortunate to have an infant that sleeps through the night. Many do not and the usual full term infant will feed every two to four hours while awake.
