Agree, Burkitt's lymphoma is not hereditary. It is associated wit EB viral infection. It is a high grade lymphoid tissue cancer.

Burkitt's lymphoma is also endemic in sub-Saharan Africa where it is related to chronic infection with Epstein Barr virus (EBV), the virus that causes mononucleosis. Though the disease itself is not inherited, there may be a genetic susceptibility in this population.
