In brief: Epilepsy definition

Epilepsy- the condition of two or more unprovoked seizures.
So two seizures would support epilepsy. Atonic seizures are very rare, and they tend to affect people with syndromes that would probably not ask this question- because they have other kinds of seizures too.

In brief: Recurrent...>1

The definition of epilepsy being "recurrent, unprovoked seizures," having two seizures not provoked by a severely abnormal physical/chemical state would constitute epilepsy.
