Distract yourself. You were a light smoker, but could still be dependent on nicotine. Plus the daily routine of having a cigarette can be habit-forming - a psychological way to keep you doing it. The key is to teach yourself to get through the day. Cravings can be like hunger pains - wait awhile and they go away! so, make a list of things you can do instead of smoke.
