Is it necessary to go to the doctors if AC joint separation?

Shoulder separation. Most ac joint injuries are treated successfully without surgery. However, without an x-ray, it would be impossible to differentiate ac separation from distal clavicle fracture. I recommend evaluation with x-rays to be sure. Good luck!
