Can you tell me about hypocellular bone marrow?

Not enough cells. This means there are not as many blood-producing cells as would be expected for a person of this age. Cellularity % refers to the amount of space in the bone marrow occupied by blood producing cells. In general, you can estimate the EXPECTED cellularity of bone marrow as 100-Age. For example, a normal 20 year old might have about 80% ; a normal 90 yo 10%.
