I am terrified about to go in for cervical biopsy, what can I expect?

Aesthetic Medicine

In brief: Not horrible

The cervical biopsy is a quick outpatient often in office test that removes a sample of the cervix.
Some gyn offer a block making the biopsy painless. Afterward there will be minor craping, small amount of blood or bloody discharge and really that's about all. The doctor will also ask you to abstain from intercourse until the cervix is healed. Basically its all simple supportive care.
