What is stress eating?

A coping style. Stress causes a variety of emotions ( anxiety, fear etc, ) there are many who react to unpleasant feelings by eating excessively. Some professionals feel it due to a childhood pattern of food rewards to an upset child. It is a problem if the eating leads to excessive weight gain. Then obtain a consultation with therapist where you gain insight and develop healthy ways to cope with your stress.
