If you look, you may see a mass, and it can bleed, it can block breathing or make swallowing difficult. The hard palate is bony, and forms the roof of your mouth, the soft is behind your teeth. The hard palate can have a big bump called a torus palatinus - never cancer.
Palate cancer. Many patients will see a swelling or lump in the mouth, on the palate or a subtle color change or irregularity. It may hurt to swallow. Some patients may have bleeding.
