Are there any new therapies on the horizon for short statured persons other than growth hormone?

In brief: Not really.
Hgh works only for individuals whose growth plates have not fused.
Hgh deficiency in a hgh can be readily coroberated. For individuals whose growth plates have fused, no luck. I'm 5'11". I'd readily jump at the opportunity to be 6'2". I'd be on whatever existed to this, but nothing exists. Most short stature is heredity. Look at parents height, and that of siblings. Those are the best markers.
