Many things. What kind of what blood cells are elevated, and how high? The most likely answer is some sort of leukemia. If it's lymphocytes then it may be chronic lymphocytic leukemia- a potentially chronic disease. If it's granulocytes, i would worry about acute leukemia or cml. Read more...
