My recent blood test for liver function showed a reading outside the reference range. What does this mean?

Fatty liver often. Fatty liver is the most common cause for elevated LFT. Check your alcohol history or meds affecting liver function or elevated weight.

Cysts. Pancreatic cysts are of many types, some benign some with malignant potential. Liver cysts are less well understood. Increased lfts mean something--medication, alcohol, internal liver disorders--is causing liver dysfunction.
