In brief: Spondylosis

Since she had disc surgery on her neck - she obviously has cervical spondylosis.
And most likely she also has lumbar spondylosis. Spondylosis can be associated with pain. She needs to talk with her surgeon and she needs to undergo an appropriate physical therapy program. There are meds that may be useful - but again she should discuss them with her surgeon or pcp.
