Not a problem. Normally, the lining of the uterus thickens monthly in preparation for pregnancy. When u don't get pregnant, the hormone level drops & "signals" the uterus 2 slough the lining. With continuous pills, u take an active hormone pill daily. U take the placebo (hormone free)pills once every 3 mos. The drop in hormone level "signals" for a letdown bleed or period.
