Please tell me, could a CT scan show any viral infections of brain or spinal meningitis?

In brief: Not usually

Ct of brain and spine usually does not play role in diagnosis of viral process.
Some clinicians obtain ct prior to spinal tap as precaution, to exclude increased intracranial pressure. This probably is overkill in the usage of ct.
