I have been diagnosed with gad & have tried zoloft, lexapro, (escitalopram) citalopram and remeron all to no avail. Would gabapentin be a good choice?

In brief: Probably not

In my experience, I have not seen Gabapentin to be useful in treating anxiety.
Makes sure that your diagnosis is correct, and that you have been taking full, therapeutic doses of the medications you have been taking. You may need a combination of medications, such as the addition of an antipsychotic. Lastly, consider a second opinion with a different psychiatrist.
