In brief: Hydradenitis

There are various treatment options for hidradenitis suppurativa (hs), a recurrent and suppurative disease, but none is wholly satisfactory or effective.
There have been many reports on the efficacy of biologic drugs for the treatment of hs. The biologics that have been very successful in treating hs are enbrel, humira, and remicade (infliximab).

In brief: Nothing great

Let me start with the fact that all non-surgical treatments are helpful but not curative- when med is stopped symptoms will recur. Some treatments include topical antibiotics, oral antibiotics, oral acne meds such as accutane, losing weight also seems to help as does quitting smoking.
Using germicidal cleaners like hibiclensmay also help. Sadly nothing is great and often surgery is best option.
