In brief: Surgery

Surgery is the only curative therapy for pancreatic cancer.
Usually this will be supplemented with chemotherapy and radiation. In order to have long-term survival the tumor must be completely removed.

In brief: Surgery, if early

Lesions localized to the pancreas and may be local lymph nodes may be cured by radical surgery.
There are no good options for cancer that has spread to other organs, though progress continues to made with other forms of therapy.

In brief: Not much.

Curative surgical resections are seen in 10% of patients.
Gemcitabine can be used for palliative care.
