Diagnostic overall result for complete blood exam is normal; urine exam is normal. But urinalysis says 'trace' under sugar content. What does it mean?

In brief: Repeat the test

Trace sugar in the urine is not worrisome by itself.
It may represent the onset of diabetes. You should have it repeated along with glucose measurements performed while fasting to rule out diabetes. As with any subtle abnormal lab test, it should always be repeated to make sure it is not a false positive.
