Donors are screened to rule out conditions which might make donation a problem. You might be extraordinarily sensitive to the loss of fluid and be a little sensitive to standing up suddenly.
There are very rarely some people with discomfort at the donation site. Mostly it is a very benign event and a chance to be a good citizen.
