I took a home pregnancy test which came back positive but I have no symptoms other then being nausea am I be pregnant or is this a false positive test?
It's likely real. Urine pregnancy tests are very accurate, so the next step is to contact an ob-gyn doctor (or primary care doctor, if one does not have an ob-gyn doctor). The doctor or his staff can give you details on when you should be seen, what lab tests might be needed, and for what symptoms you should call them even if after-hours. Healthtap's site also has answers to thousands of questions about pregnancy.

Stay calm. Don't be afraid there are many options available to you. First and foremost make an appointment with your family doctor or gynecologist so that they can confirm if indeed you are pregnant. I have home pregnancy test that are positive. I have nausea, sharp pains in my lower back and front right lower side. It's also a burning feeling, ver?
See a doctor. If you have a positive pregnancy test, you are pregnant. The nausea may be due to the early pregnancy but the pain is not. There are many possible causes including a urinary tract infection, appendicitis, or even a tubal pregnancy but you need to be seen ASAP by your PCP, OB, an urgent care clinic, or, if all else fails, an emergency room. Be safe and be seen. Hope you are feeling better soon. Read more...
