Review this again. Aldosterone deficient patients that require fluorinef are almost by definition hyperkalemic. Florinef (fludrocortisone) will make the k lower. The condition you describe (low aldosterone, adrenal insufficiency) comes with high k, non gap acidosis and low blood pressure. The low k does not fit. Perhaps this is a form of barrter's syndrome.
