In brief: Decreased taste
Part of our sense of taste is due to our sense of smell.
When nasal congestion inhibits smell, our sense of taste is diminished as well. Using saline nasal spray to loosen & remove mucous congestion should help taste return to normal. If more is needed, otc decongestant can shrink congested passages to allow mucus to come out. If you have BP problems, ask doc b4 using decongestant.
