Private schools differ from public in that they are generally not required to provide special services to learning impaired kids.
Some may do so but bare the cost without the federal/state subsidy used by the public sector. In some districts you can obtain special services in from a public system & still attend private school, but this becomes a logistical problem.Check local available programs.
