My doctor prescribed benzoyl peroxide for my acne. How do I use it?

In brief: Topical

Smear it on and rub it in.
The tube may have some instructions as well. Probably 5% 2x/day. It is not pleasant, but it's your best beginning therapy. Your physician will add a second medication if you're not clear in two weeks -- perhaps an antibiotic, or the oral contraceptive pill if it's right for you. Best of luck.
