In brief: Gonorrhea (GC)

Complications of gonorrhea (gc) include pelvic inflammatory disease and possible infertility in women, and epididymitis in men.
Untreated gc can also lead to disseminated infection characterized by arthritis, tenosynovitis, and/or dermatitis which can be life-threatening. If ill enough, the person could become delirious. Syphilis is more known for neuropsychiatric manifestations than gc.
