I have a foot contusion, the foot was rolled badly on the arch, it was 1 month ago and it still has swelling around/on arch. How long should it take?

In brief: Many weeks

Foot contusions can take 6-8 weeks to get better. The length of time also depends on your ability to stay off it and let it rest.
It takes much longer if you continue to walk on it and reinjure it while it is trying to heal. You may also have an occult fracture that would benefit from a cast -- see your doctor for a re-examination. A repeat xray or MRI will tell if a more serious problem.
