I'm a 19 year old male and was wondering if it would be helpful to take a daily vitamin of any kind and if so what is suggested?
Vitamins. Eating properly can take the place of vitamins. Save your money and put it to better use.
Depends on diet ;... It's best to get vitamins from our diet but the majority of americans are deficient in vit. D, e ; a ; folate, (folic acid) calcium ; magnesium ; over 1/3 are deficient in vit c, b6 ; zinc, so unless you have an exceptional diet it is reasonable to take a quality multivitamin and 5-8, 000 iu/day of vit d3.
