What are all the signs of early pregnancy. I am currently on trisprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) but I had sex last week and he cumed in me. Could I be pregnant?

Probably not. A woman of childbearing age who has some nausea (with or without vomiting), some fatigue (feels less energetic), a sharper/stronger sense of smell, mild soreness/swelling of her breasts, and maybe some food aversions and cravings... Could be pregnant. Symptoms can occur before missing a period. However, birth control pills work very well, so one can just wait for a missed period before testing.

Do I still have to wait a week before having unprotected sex when switching from trisprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) to sprintec?

No. If the switch was made with no missed days/doses in between, then there should be no period of increased fertility after the switch. With a switch from triphasic to monophasic (Tri-Sprintec to Sprintec), no matter what phase you make the switch in your progestin dose is either not changing or going up a bit, and the estrogen dose doesn't change at all. This should not cause/permit ovulation. Read more...

On trisprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) (birth control) for a year and half but last 2 months I start spotting the week before my period. Is this normal?

See your MD. You should not spot when still on the active pill especially since you have been on this pill for a long time. I would see your doctor to further investigate since this is a change from what you are used to on this pill. This bleeding may be a sign of an anatomical change, a change in your hormones, or a fluke. Consider having a pelvic ultrasound and or changing to a different birth control pill. Read more...

Miss 1 blue previfem (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) pill this is the first time & took it next day the day I had unprotected sex. What is chance of pregnancy if he came inside?

Low not Zero. If you took the missed pill the next day along with the pill you were supposed to take the next day, chances are very low that you conceived. If you miss a period or your periods become very light, take a pregnancy test to be sure. Read more...

I've been on trisprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) for 6 days &I had unprotected sex on Day 5. He pulled out but I'm paranoid. Can I use trisprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) as an ec? What should I do?

If you have been on. the sprintec consistent for months prior then you should be covered. But if you just started the Sprintec then you should just utilize emergency contraception(levonorgestrel - Plan B). There are ways to take mulitple Tri-sprintec tablets but this is off label use, not as effective with more side effects(also more complicated due to variable dosages of your OCB tablets). Read more...
