Chronic intermittent muscle twitching. Occurs bilaterally and in ue and le as well as trunk (usually extension spasm). Increasing frequency. Causes?

Neurologist. Some muscle twitching can be harmless and in these cases there is no muscle pain or weakness. With such generalized twitching i recommend an evaluation by a neurologist for diagnosis. Calcium and magnesium deficiencies and neuromuscular conditions will be considered.
