Can you tell me about the link of addison's disease and dermatomyositis? I've been tapering for months from 10mg of prednisone and am now down to 5mg.

Dermatomyositis is. Do you have a cancer causing dermatomyositis? Prednisone may increase fungus infections ; may cause adrenal insufficiency. Be sure you discuss these problems with your drs.
